St. Vladimir celebrated Father Paul and Matushka Mary Shafran's 70 years of service to the Orthodox Faith.

They were married on November 27th, 1947. Father Paul was ordained to the Holy Deaconate on December 14th, 1947 and ordained to the Holy Priesthood on December 28th, 1947.

Father Paul retired in 2002 and was appointed as Pastor Emeritus of St. Vladimir Church.
