Parishioners greeted the Icon of St. Anna, who was the Mother of the Holy Theotokos as well as the grandmother or our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The icon streamed myrrh from 2004 until 2009. Included in the icon case are relics from Joachim and Anna and a thread from the garment of the Holy Theotokos.

The Icon of St. Anna normally resides at St. Tikhon Monastery. The Abbott of the Monastery, Abbott Sergius (Bowyer) gave a very inspiring speech about our faith and our relationship with God. Others gave testament to the healing powers of the icon.
